10 Last Minute Mother’s Day Gift Deals (2024)

Time passes quickly. If you look at your calendar and realize that Mother’s Day is this Sunday, you might be panicking about your plans (or lack thereof) for the weekend. Gifts are a great way to show your appreciation to your mom (even though she might not be interested in gifts!). We’ve looked for last-minute Mother’s Day gift deals that are in time, especially if you have Amazon Prime. Target also offers fast weekend shipping and in-store pickup on most of the items listed below.

Many of these options are taken from our Mother’s Day Gift Guide, check out Best Gifts for Mom for more ideas.

Kindle Paperwhite

This price is for a Paperwhite with ads on the lock screen. The ad-free model is discounted to $135 ($35 off). The Kindle is our favorite e-reader, and the Paperwhite is the best in Amazon’s lineup. It’s waterproof, has a warm backlight, and 16GB of storage is enough to store thousands of books. The Signature edition offers self-adjusting lighting and wireless charging, but is not available for sale. If mom doesn’t need these extras, the basic version of her Kindle will be discounted to her $80 ($20 off).

If your gift recipient always keeps extra plastic utensils in their bag, this silverware set from Cliff Set includes a fork, spoon, knife, and case. Even better, it includes a cleaning system (refillable spray and cloth) to keep everything clean after your lunch in the park.

KitchenAid Artisan Stand Mixer

KitchenAid stand mixers are the gold standard in kitchen equipment that will last forever. Lots of colors are available from both Amazon and Target, but only some are eligible for fast shipping. The slightly smaller 4.5-quart version is also discounted to $240 ($90 off). This is only available in white and black.

Click on the coupon on the page to apply this discount. Papier makes some of our favorite paper planners, and the company also has other notebooks and journals we love, including this recipe book. Mom can write down all her signature dishes for herself or to pass down, or you can write them together. Papier’s site offers many other cover designs, but you’ll have to spend the same amount on shipping to get them by Sunday.

Aura Walden 15 inch digital frame

I love digital frames so they make great gifts. Aura frame is the best. It’s a large one with a 15-inch screen that your gift recipient can hang on the wall or prop up against a table using a metal stand. I prefer her Carver frame from Aura, which is not on sale, but is much more affordable at $149. This model can only sit sideways, but Mason says it’s discounted to $169 ($30 off) and can be rotated just like Walden.

If your mom has an Android smartphone and could use a smartwatch upgrade, the Google Pixel Watch 2 is for you (7/10, WIRED Recommended). It looks great and comes with useful features like automatic workout start and stop detection, fall detection, and safety checks to share your location with emergency contacts. Her redesigned Fitbit app is also more modern.

Bose QuietComfort Ultra Wireless Headphones

These are expensive, but they’re the best noise-cancelling headphones we’ve tried (9/10, recommended by WIRED). If your mother needs peace and quiet, it may be a worthwhile investment. The key is to provide balanced and clear sound. I especially like the color of the sandstone.

Even if the nearly $400 Bose headphones above are a bit pricey, you can still give quality wireless headphones as a gift. These are our favorite inexpensive noise-canceling headphones with a 40-hour battery life. It’s just a bit fragile, and while the sound quality is good value for money, it’s not as good as Bose.

This viral curling iron is perfect for beginners. The Beachwaver B1 (8/10, WIRED Recommended) rotates, so all mom has to do is grab her hair, press the button, and watch her hair automatically wrap around the wand. is. It will give you beautiful curls. Please know that it is not effective for all hair types.

Some of the Gear team are Bath People. If your mom is one too, a bathtub caddy is a serious upgrade. She can prop her Kindle or tablet up to read or watch TV, and it also holds a drink and a candle to set the mood. Depending on your area, delivery may take place after the weekend, so please be sure to check. If it’s going to be a little late, throw in a few extras like a bath pillow, a set of makeup erasers, and perhaps a candle in her favorite scent.
