Nintendo Switch Seven years after its release, it has incredible staying power for a console that has only seen minor updates to its screen and kickstand. Unlike the at-home PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X, the Switch is portable, personal, and packed with exclusives and indie titles. Because the Switch can be played at home or on the go, you may need batteries, protective cases, and other accessories that you’re not accustomed to buying for your console.
The Switch OLED is a big improvement over the original, and the accessories on this list should work with the OLED version unless otherwise noted in the text or purchase link, but we haven’t tested all of them. Some are also suitable for Nintendo’s Switch Lite, the mobile-only sibling of the Switch that can’t connect to a TV.
