There are so many great TVs on sale right now that even those that didn’t make it into our top picks could still be a great choice for you. Here are some of our favorite TVs that sadly missed out.
Samsung S95C: As we said above, the S95C (8/10, WIRED Recommended) remains a great choice — maybe even a better option for those who don’t want or need the matte screen of the 2024 model — and it still stands as one of the best OLED TVs you can buy, especially considering it’s selling for a very reasonable price.
Sony Bravia 7: The Bravia 7 (7/10, WIRED Recommended) is a great display, with vibrant brightness, natural colors, and a refined delicacy of subtle details. Its biggest drawback is its poor off-axis viewing, but the high price means this may be hard to swallow. Other than that, it’s worth considering for fans of Sony’s brilliance.
Hisense U8K: While the U8N is much brighter, the U8K (8/10, WIRED Recommended) was one of the brightest monitors of last year and adds a host of other benefits, from better contrast to better gaming features. If you can find it on sale for significantly less than the U8N, it’s well worth considering.
Samsung QN90B: Another great deal to buy while you still can is Samsung’s QN90B (8/10, WIRED Recommended). This has long been our favorite TV for bright rooms. It comes in a variety of sizes, has a bright, colorful picture, and lots of extras, especially considering that prices continue to fall.
