In just a few days, thousands of delegates from nearly every country on earth are scheduled to arrive in Baku, Azerbaijan, to participate in the annual United Nations Climate Change Conference.
The conference will be an opportunity for countries to come together and develop an international response to global warming against a backdrop of record temperatures, devastating storms, floods, heat waves and drought.
These climate summits, known as the Conference of the Parties (COP), are notorious for their impact on global climate change.
