Your child is already Logan And/or anyone who has seen the first two Deadpool movies might think there’s nothing shocking about this team-up, but with Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman reviving the MCU with their power and star power, they bring some truly shocking on-screen carnage.
For example, early in the film, Wade Wilson (Reynolds) desecrates an iconic tomb and uses its contents as a weapon in a bloody brawl with TVA soldiers—but more graphic in a later scene, when another (arguably less popular) hero is skinned alive.
It’s worth noting that both of these scenes have comedic undertones, which may soften the impact for children.

The brutal violence is often balanced with absurd humor, and its impact is softened by the simple fact that both titular characters have the ability to heal quickly. But the character of Cassandra Nova (Emma Corrin) takes MCU to a new level of wonder. The evil twin of Charles Xavier, Cassandra has all of Charles’ telekinetic abilities but is unencumbered by his pesky conscience. Plus, the twist on her inquisitiveness is that much creepier because she actually dabbles in it. Literally.
We’ve seen Deadpool hop over broken bones, regrow baby legs, and blow himself to smithereens, but if you imagine Cassandra probing a human skull with her clay-like fingers in a Deadpool movie, you (or your kids) won’t get what you’re expecting. The sight of her grabbing Mr. Paradox (Matthew Macfadyen) by the face like it’s rotten fruit and dragging him through the streets might be the stuff of nightmares.
