Walmart barely managed to find any noteworthy robot vacuum deals during Walmart+ Week, so we expect Amazon to be even more aggressive in offering robot vacuum deals on Prime Day.
But we’re safe. Overall, Amazon is the best place to get a robot vacuum at a sale price any time of the year, whether it’s a shopping holiday or a Tuesday in September when your current corded vacuum is maxed out. Despite abandoning plans to acquire iRobot, Amazon is still the best retailer to find Roomba at a sale price, slashing the price of Roombas by 25% to 50% throughout the year. As Prime Day approaches, the same Roomba is set to hit record low prices. Ideally, the Roomba Combo j9+ will be under $800 and the Combo j5+ will be under $400.

Similarly, we’re hoping Prime Day will serve as a catalyst for the lowest prices ever for other premium robot vacuums, which will be announced at CES 2024 in January. It’s especially great to see the Eufy X10 Pro Omni drop below $650 and the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra get its first discount ever, both of which we’ve tested and loved.
But if your beach trips leave you with sandy floors, you don’t have to wait until Prime Day (July 16th and 17th) to buy a robot vacuum. We’ll be updating our list of robot vacuums on sale at Amazon over the next few weeks as Prime Day approaches (including subcategories from standard robot vacuums to robot vacuums with mops), and we’ll let you know when Amazon switches over to its official Prime Day early sales. Why we like it
Eufy’s X9 Pro will be available in Fall 2023, slotting right between the X8 Pro (without mopping capabilities) and the X10 Pro Omni (MSRP $799.99), and has already seen some groundbreaking price cuts in the month of June alone: the current discount code, X9PROEUFY, bumps the discount up to 50% off, surpassing the discount that was available exclusively to Prime members in mid-June.

The X9 Pro is more reminiscent of its successor than its predecessor. It has flat edges to reach corners, a unique mop pad that mops, washes, and dries, and uses AI to sense and avoid small obstacles like phone cables. As a mop, the X9 Pro outperforms many of its competitors thanks to its dual-pressurized, rotating mop heads; these heads automatically lift off the ground when carpet is detected.
