First, let’s consider a screen like a television. If you have three small lights (red, green, and blue), you can create a small black dot by simply turning off all three colored lights in that area. Boom, it’s black!
So, can you make it black just by turning off the projector? That can’t be true, right? If so, you won’t be able to tell the difference between the projected black color and the screen, even if the projector is not powered on. Yes, that’s exactly right.
