Looking back at this week, it may have been a good idea for Google to announce the Pixel 9 earlier in the product release cycle than normal, since now all anyone is talking about are iPhone leaks. Several leaks have emerged this week, the latest of which is for a titanium colorway of the iPhone 16 Pro Max. The colors are white, black, silver-grey, and what appears to be bronze. Unfortunately, the bronze looks brown to me.
These images were brought to our attention via Ice Universe, a reliable sleuth with a consistent track record when it comes to leaks. The leaker sets the stage here: “The iPhone 16 Pro Max is said to come in these four colours,” which is a pretty ominous way to introduce the leak to viewers. We then see a photo above of four iPhone 16 Pro Maxes fanned out on a white table.
The original image was provided by Sonny Dixon, whose account is full of leaks about the iPhone 16. Pinned to the top of the page on Twitter/X/Now That’s What It’s Called is a photo showcasing five different color variants of the iPhone 16 that was revealed late last month and has been corroborated by YouTube leaks this week.
This brownish copper iPhone 16 Pro Max hasn’t been leaked before. I turned off the yellow comfort filter on my monitor to get a better look at the color, and it’s still brown. The entire lineup reminds me of the color palette of earlier seasons. Columbois one of my favorite shows ( Beverly Hills, 90210), but it’s not quite as dreamy and set in 1970s Los Angeles. Brown evokes a more institutional feel; government agencies and the Department of Motor Vehicles are the first to spring to mind.
The iPhone 16 Pro Max may look different in sunlight. The artificial white lighting used in the leaked photos makes the rose gold tone look more muted. Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo mentioned a rose gold-like color replacing the iPhone 15 Pro Max’s blue titanium colorway back in May. color.
Apple certainly do not have As much as we appreciate this leak, we’re taking this information with a pinch of salt until we hear it from Tim Cook himself, and we’re hoping that Apple will tell us everything we need to know when we’re ready to collect our money for the iPhone 16.
