Disney and Pixar Inside Out 2 Joined the billion dollar club.
The sequel to the 2015 film surpassed $1 billion in worldwide box office takings on Sunday, becoming the first film of 2024 to do so. Barbie It’s the first time a film has achieved such high box office success, and the film is currently the highest-grossing film of the year.

According to Disney, Inside Out 2 It grossed over $1 billion just 19 days after its release, setting a new record as the fastest-grossing animated film. Frozen 2 On the 25th, the film’s opening day box office gross reached $62 million, making it the highest grossing film of the year. Inside Out 2 It made $57.4 million. A Quiet Place: Day 1 $53 million.

Only 11 animated films have ever made that much money at the box office. Zootopia, Finding Dory, Despicable Me 3, Toy Story 3 and Four, Minions, Incredibles 2, frozen and its sequel, 2019’s The Man from Nowhere, the highest-grossing animated film of all time.
