The MCU has struggled in the years since. Avengers: Endgame The Infinity Saga has come to an end, and everyone is expressing their opinion on the inconsistency of the film especially these days, but apparently there’s a limit to who can say bad things.
If you haven’t heard yet, Jamie Lee Curtis shared her thoughts on the current quality of the MCU. BorderlandsWhen asked about the current state of Marvel, she replied, “Bad.” Naturally, the comment went viral, and things just got worse from there. She later apologized, saying her comments were “stupid and that I will try harder. I have reached out to Kevin Feige and I am no longer playing in the dirty little game that is the internet.”

This is a very strange situation to put Curtis in, because she’s not saying anything particularly malicious. Again, people are pretty clear that the more recent phases haven’t been as strong as the previous ones, and they’ve often been quite harsher than Curtis. And no one at Marvel seems to have publicly expressed their feelings about her remarks, as they have done when Martin Scorsese and other filmmakers have made similar statements. Let Curtis and others live their truth. If we want people to have fun, we should also allow them to be free to be their biggest haters.
