Marvel Studios makes the best movies in the world, and they just announced some of the most talked about casting news in recent times. What else does Marvel have in store for this summer? There’s sure to be more news and footage at the D23 Expo in Anaheim, California next week, but the studio has also added a few new movies to their release schedule.
According to news announced at San Diego Comic-Con this week, Disney Avengers: Doomsday Replacing Kang Dynasty May 1, 2026. Fantastic Four: The First Step and Thunderbolt* (asterisk added) have both officially moved on the schedule. And there’s something else big happening: an untitled movie that was scheduled for release on July 24, 2026 has been moved to a new release date. Deleted It has been removed from the schedule and two new films have been added for July 23, 2027 and November 5, 2027.
The schedule remains unchanged. Captain America: The New World Order February 14, 2025, blade November 7, 2025 (details below) Avengers: Secret Wars It is scheduled for release on May 7, 2027, with two untitled films to be released on February 13, 2026 and November 6, 2026.
So this is what we got. The order here is important, so it’s important to do this:
- Captain America: Brave New World – February 14, 2025
- Thunderbolt* – May 2, 2025
- Fantastic Four: The First Step – July 25, 2025
- blade – November 7, 2025
- Untitled Marvel – February 13, 2026
- Avengers: Doomsday – May 1, 2026
- Untitled Marvel – November 6, 2026
- Avengers: Secret Wars – May 7, 2027
- Untitled Marvel – July 23, 2027
- Untitled Marvel – November 5, 2027
The first thing that catches your eye is blade 2025. The controversy surrounding this film and recent Deadpool and Wolverine Just kidding, not to mention that a fourth film is being made when three would be ideal, so you have to think that it will eventually be moved or removed.
More than that, the film on February 13, 2026, Doomsday Somehow, maybe Shang-Chi 2And a film set to be released on November 6, 2026 will appear between the two. the avengers The movie will probably be a bit like that. Armor Wars or Doctor Strange 3?
No one knows what 2027 will be like, but imagine. Secret Wars As the potential start of Marvel’s next phase, one of them is the new dead pool or X-Men movie.
Oh, and let’s not forget Spider-Man. Spider-Man 4 starring Tom Holland is definitely happening, but it will be a Sony release, not a Marvel/Disney release, which may be why the July 2026 Marvel movies were delayed to make way for Spider-Man.
And then there’s the question of when we’ll get all these answers. The obvious place to find them would have been last week at Comic-Con, but that’s now over. Will D23 Expo be the place? Or will Marvel wait until next year’s Comic-Con to get a peek into the future? We’ll wait with you to find out the answer.
