What is the Luma AI Dream Machine?

Dream Machine was developed by Luma AI, a San Francisco artificial intelligence startup best known for developing 3D model generator Genie.

Instead of offering its video service for a subscription fee, Luma AI decided to launch a free model that anyone can use and experiment with, and it also plans to release a public developer API, Sora, in the coming months.

AI enthusiasts quickly began pushing the limits of the new generator, including interconnected experiments using Dream Machine to animate static AI images created with non-Luma tools like Midjourney.

How can I try the Luma AI Dream Machine?

The Dream Machine is available now on the Luma Labs website.

First, users must sign in with their personal Google account. Due to a surge in traffic after its launch, Luma AI is now limiting users to 10 videos generated for free per day.
