Comcast announces low-cost internet plans

Comcast has several new, more affordable internet plans for both home and mobile users. The launch of these budget-friendly plans comes on the heels of the end of the Affordable Connectivity Program, which provided millions of low-income households in the United States with subsidies to pay for high-speed internet access. Comcast is seizing the opportunity to market new, cheaper plans to address the lack of access.

Comcast’s new Now Internet home plans come in two flavors: a 100 Mbps connection for $30 per month and a 200 Mbps connection for $40. Bundle this with a Now Mobile plan for $25 per line, and you’ll be able to connect all your gadgets to the internet for rates starting at $55 per month. These are prepaid plans (also known as “pay-as-you-go” plans) that don’t require a contract.

Currently, TV is an additional option that gives you access to over 40 live channels for $20 per month.In case you missed it, it also includes Peacock+ love island And there’s no Hulu either.
