Feeling like some friendly competition in the Olympics? My Nintendo Store is running a huge sale on multiplayer games so you can challenge your friends from the comfort of your couch (or cardboard bed).
Running through Sunday, August 11th, the last day of the Paris Olympics, Nintendo’s Let’s Play Sale is offering up to 84% off popular cooperative games and Switch DLC. (It’s advertised as “up to 50% off,” but we found some even higher discounts.) The lineup spans a variety of genres, with a particular focus on sports-related content. nintendo switch sports and Mario & Sonic at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games Apparently, this is the final installment in the “Mario & Sonic at the Beijing Olympic Games” series.

Why we like it:
The International Olympic Committee is reportedly ditching Mario & Sonic for NFTs and eSports, but it’s not ready to move on just yet. Nintendo’s last collaboration with Sega is set in the 2020 Summer Olympics and will feature over 30 sports, including karate, gymnastics, archery, and equestrian. This appears to be one of the biggest discounts ever, at least compared to past prices on Amazon.

According to our sister site IGN, the all-new arcade platformer is “a stunning return to the (Super Monkey Ball) series with the best levels and controls it’s seen in over 20 years,” and it’s already on sale for 25% off, even though it’s only been out for a little over a month.

The Wii version was much better, Switch sports It’s a fun and entertaining party game for up to four players, and a recent free update added basketball to the game in addition to soccer, volleyball, badminton, bowling, and golf.
