Even before the first film was released, it was clear that Zack Snyder was thinking long term. Rebel MoonFurther films, mobile games, comics, and even a TTRPG – if there’s a medium that can house a piece of his science fantasy epic, Snyder is determined to bring it there, and naturally that includes a podcast that follows in the footsteps of the film and brings along a few big-name actors.
Specifically, narrative fiction podcasts Sénéchal: Tales of the Rebel Moon The film tells the story of the original Jimmy, a robot voiced by Anthony Hopkins. Set centuries before the film, the prequel focuses on two inventors who are commissioned by King Ulmar to create a warrior knight who will help maintain control of the universe. In-universe, Jimmy is created as a royal guard for his home world, but as we all know, robots built for violence eventually find someone (usually a woman) who gives them a soul and drives them to be heroes. In this case, it’s Jimmy. Fallout Ella Purnell will play the role of Raina in the production, billed as “a story of creation, ambition, faith and betrayal.”
In addition to Parnell, the cast includes Lost Naveen Andrews and Alfred Enoch (How to Get Away with Murder Inventors Grigory, Adwin and Peter Serafinovich (John Wick 2) will play Bartholomew and Jason Isaacs will play Ulmer. traitor If you’re a huge fan of the legend, this one will no doubt be your favorite, especially since it’s another in the franchise after the expanded and renamed (and perhaps more brutal) version due for release in early August. For the rest of us, it might be interesting to see how Snyder’s work works in a new format and without his signature visual style.
