Reddit has launched its own version of Lead Gen Ads, which allows marketers to collect lead information directly from in-app promotions.

As you can see from this example, Reddit’s lead generation ads work pretty much as you’d expect: the ad contains a “Sign up” CTA (or something similar) that, when clicked, takes the user to a sign-up form where they can enter their details.
According to Reddit, the updated ad format is more suited to mobile users and includes elements such as auto-filling email addresses. It ensures a smooth user experience.
Early testers have responded well.
“In beta testing, advertisers across industries saw improvements in lead quality and campaign performance. LaunchDarkly, a feature management platform that helps software development teams implement and control feature flags, Cost per lead decreased by 30% and lead submission rate increased by 25% This was compared to previous conversion campaigns on the platform in early testing.“
Lead generation ads can be a valuable way to make connections and expand your business network, and if you can target specific Reddit communities, they can be a great way to drive brand awareness and interest for the right brands.
Additionally, Reddit also announced a new integration with automation platform Zapier, which will: Send lead information from Reddit directly to your CRM of choice.
This is a nice addition to Reddit’s growing advertising suite as the company looks to maximize business opportunities and increase revenue potential. Pulling lead information from campaigns directly into the CRM will provide more opportunities and give them more to consider in their advertising plans.
Reddit’s lead generation ads are currently available to all advertisers globally, while the Zapier integration is available to brands that work directly with Reddit’s advertising team.
