Anyone using the Ring app or viewing the Ring doorbell on an Amazon device can see a higher view than the Ring Video Doorbell — 2nd Gen. This also comes in handy for added features like Package Alerts, because when the mailman or delivery person delivers your package, you can see not only the delivery person’s entire body, but also the package as they place it down.

The field of view is 150 degrees x 150 degrees, which is improved over previous versions of Ring. Not only does it shoot HD video, but it also has color night vision, so you’ll always have a good view. You’ll know exactly what’s going on, day or night. The latest design also upgrades the installation process, making it much easier to set up near the front, side, or back door of your home.
