Ryan Reynolds was quiet for a long time, even down to who was in the cast. Deadpool and Wolverinee. He couldn’t say who wasn’t. And if you’ve ever seen a movie with Ryan Reynolds in it, you know it’s not natural for him to keep quiet.
Now that the film is out, Reynolds has finally been able to speak about everyone in the film, which has been a truly emotional experience. Deadpool and Wolverine took to social media to pay tribute to actors who have surprise supporting roles in the film, including Wesley Snipes, Channing Tatum, Jennifer Garner, Dafne Keen, and today, Jon Favreau. You can read each post below, with a bonus new photo from behind the scenes of the film.
Jon Favreau didn’t just jump in. #Deadpool and Wolverine We had a one-night stand as Happy Hogan. He gave us a 360-degree view of who he is as an innovator, the founder of Marvel, and a great storyteller. Conspicuously absent, at least for now, is Chris Evans, who Fantastic Four He plays the Human Torch, Johnny Storm. I think he will be appearing soon, so I will update this post when he does.
Still, it’s clear how excited Reynolds was to have these actors return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. As rewarding as it was for audiences, it was equally rewarding for him; not just to share the screen with them, but to give these characters some kind of closure. Now we’ll just have to wait and see if they return for future projects.
Deadpool and Wolverine As you know, it’s in theaters now.
