After winning the gold medal, Biles was pretty explicit in her criticism of former President Donald Trump, when Ricky Davila posted on X, “Simone Biles is the GOAT and it’s her black job to win gold medals and dominate gymnastics,” a reference to Trump saying that immigrants are “stealing black jobs.”

It was a swift rebuke of Trump’s comments at the National Association of Black Journalists’ annual conference, and James appeared to approve, as she quoted Biles in a tweet calling her “Black (goat emoji).”

James, arguably the GOAT of basketball, previously attacked Trump on Twitter in 2017, calling him a “U bum.” Meanwhile, Biles is clearly focused on enjoying the Paris Olympics. Her Way After receiving a lot of flak for her decision to pull out of the 2021 Tokyo Olympics over “Twisties,” she went out of her way to slam former teammate Mikayla Skinner, who had previously questioned the talent and dedication of Team USA.
