The game is back on. Netflix is Squid Game Season 2 will premiere on December 26th, with the third and final season set to follow shortly thereafter in 2025.
“Three years after winning the Squid Game, Player 456 is still determined to find the people behind the game and put an end to this vicious sport,” the press release reads. “With this large sum of money dedicated to his search fund, Ki-hoon starts in the most obvious place: looking for a man in a suit playing Takji on the subway. But when his efforts finally bear fruit, the path to taking down the organization proves to be more dangerous than he ever imagined. To put an end to the game, he’ll need to rejoin.”
