Discovery Global Themed Entertainment, told io9 in a statement. “Our partners at Six Flags and RWS Global have the same attention to detail and accuracy, and we can’t wait for Fright Fest attendees to experience it.” The Conjuring Universe In this new way.”

Note: The following interview was conducted via email.
Germain Lussier, io9: The Conjuring, Annabelle, and Nun They share the same world on screen, but have never been seen together before. Magical Universe How to combine them into one story?
Edison Ramey: We feel blessed and incredibly excited that our parks will be the first place these three iconic brands meet for the first time. This was not something we took lightly. We wanted something that was a natural extension of the movies and aligned across the board. Ultimately, together with our friends at RWS Global, we were able to build something that was true to the franchise but also allowed each brand to have their own big moment in the maze. As I often say, it’s like reading a great book and then being turned into a movie and then a great movie turned into a haunted house. The people who know and love the movies have high expectations and we intend to deliver.
io9: Will the stories overlap or will there be three distinct stories?
Raymie: It’s a mix. The maze takes place in the Warren Occult Museum, so it’s able to incorporate all the brands at the same time in a very natural way, and it also sets the stage that these terrifying characters could show up at any time. As guests move from room to room they’ll be taken to places like Bathsheba’s Nest, Annabelle’s Playground and St. Carta, immersing them even more deeply into certain franchises as anything could happen.
io9: What makes this maze unique compared to the other mazes at Fright Fest?
Raymie: This is the only maze that combines franchises – three mazes in one! Last year, we had the great fortune of working with WB to create a maze that was just over 100 meters long. The Conjuring, Being able to expand on that is very exciting for us.
io9: Six Flags is focusing on IP this year that’s heavily in direct competition with Universal Horror Nights. Can you talk about the idea of acquiring a franchise with more recognition without clashing with the competition?
Raymie: Conceptually, it made sense. We’re a thrill destination, so what better way to do that than to partner with a horror movie? They both work hard to scare you, excite you, and make you want to see more. But we also wanted to prove it. Because we valued feedback and wanted to make sure it would work at Six Flags. We Magic Trick and Saw We waited to see how the IP-centric maze would garner reaction, and it was overwhelmingly positive. Guests loved the houses and found the cinematic storytelling entertaining. They said they didn’t mind waiting in line for two hours to get in because it was so entertaining. But this year we improved the flow to accommodate more people. The feedback was they wanted more scares, more frightening things. Magic Trickso we [went] and universe Concept. We listened, learned, and implemented that feedback for 2024.
io9: New Magic Trick With the film in the works, can fans expect any teasers in the future?
Raymie: While not much can be said about the upcoming film, the maze is sure to get fans excited about the series and give them something to enjoy while they wait for the next installment, making a visit to Six Flags the ultimate trailer for the upcoming film.
