Nearly 10 years ago, TNT The librarians, A spin-off of the channel’s popular TV movie series, the show has built a solid fanbase and seemed like it was over after it ended in 2018. But there’s good news. Librarians I’m back again and I’m back on my home network.
Just before the weekend, Electric Entertainment announced a new show. Librarian: Next chapter, It’s set to air on TNT next year. It was previously slated to air on The CW in 2023, but the network recently pulled the show from its schedule indefinitely ahead of its October 24 premiere for reasons currently unknown. According to Deadline, TNT Next Chapter Post-production is currently underway on the first season, but a second season (12 episodes) has already been approved.
Next Chapter The story centers on a medieval librarian (Callum McGowan) who accidentally travels back in time to the present day. After accidentally awakening a magical artifact in the museum, the old librarian must team up with a new team to set things right. Co-stars include Jessica Green, Olivia Morris, Bluey Robinson, Librarian Alumnus Christian Kane is set to reprise his role as Jacob Stone as a guest star at some point in the series.
Franchise producer Dean Devlin said the surprise save “means a lot to us and we’re thrilled that TNT is committed to its fans by continuing to offer one of their beloved fantasy series. ” He later told Deadline that it was all thanks to longtime network general manager Sam Lynskey, who led the team. Librarian “From the beginning,” Devlin said, Lynskey called him. Next Chapter When it moved from The CW to TNT, The CW said it “understood the idea of bringing the show back domestically as a great opportunity.”
