Given the deadly events of season one, it’s unlikely many of the previous cast members will return, though we do know that Ki-hoon will face off against the director’s front man (Lee Byung-hun), who’s back in the game. Squid Game Creator Hwang Dong-hyuk has also said he’s interested in exploring the relationship between the frontman and his police officer brother, Hwang Jun-ho (Wi Ha-jun), suggesting that the latter likely survived the events of Season 1. We’ll have to wait until the new season premiere to find out if the brothers’ relationship has also survived.
