It appears that an unexpected amount of antimatter is scattered around the space near the International Space Station (ISS). The cause may be mysterious dark matter particles.
“We were very surprised. This is strange, and the mechanism that produces this amount of antimatter must be something unusual,” said Pedro de la Torre Luque from the Autonomous University of Madrid in Spain. says. He and his colleagues discovered this hint of antimatter by analyzing 15 years of data from alpha magnetism.
