TikTok Shares Insights on Key Considerations for Brand Marketing

So you’d better act fast, as it could be gone in a flash (at least in the US). And if you’re trying to plan a more effective TikTok marketing strategy, this might help.

Today, TikTok partnered with Ipsos to launch a new guide, which looks at how brands can use creative elements to increase reach and resonance.

Firstly, the report explores how brands will approach creative in 2024 and what role it will play in the modern interactive environment.

Reportedly:

“IFor brands to succeed today, their messaging must be creative, memorable, relatable, bold, inclusive and respectful of consumer interests, while also achieving their brand purpose: ‘Impact the bottom line.’ It’s a complex brief, but it’s essential to drive business results.”

The report explores a variety of key considerations for optimal brand messaging and breaks it down into three key elements:

  • empathy – Research suggests that empathy is a key consideration: “Understand what matters to people and reflect that in your content.”
  • resonance – That’s always been a key consideration, ensuring your brand message stands out in an increasingly crowded media field. But the report goes on to point out that the key to video marketing is “the ability to speak to your audience’s hearts and truly inspire them to take action.”
  • Creation – Finally, in the last part of the report, we will discuss how TikTok specifically encourages creativity through its various tools.

Each section of the report includes a detailed summary and a visual breakdown of key notes.

Essentially, this guide aims to provide a deeper insight into the “why” of modern marketing techniques, before outlining how TikTok’s tools are uniquely suited to the task.

To an extent, it does, but the insights are pretty thin on balance and the final section on TikTok tools isn’t all that detailed.

But it might be useful to provide some additional guidance on strategy, or at least some additional considerations for your marketing approach.
