Before we see which major film, TV or gaming IPs will feature as houses at Universal Studios’ Halloween Horror Nights, Orlando has unveiled six non-IP haunted houses for its East Coast fall event.
Slaughter Cinema 2: “If you’re looking for a B-grade horror movie marathon, head to the Cary Drive-In and scream your way through creature features, grindhouse gore, spaghetti westerns and more,” following one of Orlando’s best ever Halloween Horror Nights.
Goblin Feast: “Welcome to the Goblin Feast Tavern. Visit a goblin village. A lavish feast is being prepared for goblins, orcs, hobgoblins and witches – and you are the main course.” NEW this year!
Major confectionery factories: “You’ve been invited to accompany a field trip to a candy factory. But this sweet tour takes a turn for the worse when the free samples turn the kids into sharp, candy-wielding, candy-covered killers.” Based on the fan-favourite Scare Zone!
Museum: Deadly Exhibit: “We visit the local folk museum’s infamous new exhibit, the Rotten Stone. An evil spirit escapes from within and possesses the other exhibits, corrupting everything in its path.” Also new this year.
Monstros: Monsters of Latin America: “¡Ten cuídado! With La Muerte as your guide, you’ll ask for piedad from three terrifying monsters: the blood-sucking Tlahuelpuchi, the owl-faced witch La Lechuza, and the bone-splintering El Silbón.” This house was created for Hollywood’s Halloween Horror Nights and is definitely one of the best houses in recent years. We can’t wait for East Coast ghost fans to experience it.
The Terrifying Triplets: “You’re invited to the Barmy Threesome’s birthday party, but be careful – they’ll be celebrating by re-enacting the murder of their family. Get ready for a bloody party.”
