Zelda finally gets its own game with “The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom”

The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of WisdomIn The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, which releases for Nintendo Switch on September 26, Zelda embarks on her own hero’s journey after Link goes missing. But sadly, she won’t be given her own sword.

For example, in the game’s trailer, Zelda learns how to duplicate a table. She can then spawn echoes of that table anywhere she likes, allowing players to create stairs and bridges made out of the table. Tears of the KingdomWith the Ultra Hand and Fuse abilities of , Echo’s possibilities seem quite wide. The trailer shows Echo learning how to create boxes, beds, rocks, and water blocks to navigate around potential obstacles. Echo the monster will be her ally in the fight.

Echoes of wisdom Has a similar visual style to the remake The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening Though it’s from 2019, it seems to be in keeping with the experimental nature of the series’ most recent releases. Tears of the KingdomDuring the presentation, longtime producer Eiji Aonuma said the team “wanted to create a new gameplay style that breaks with conventions seen in the past in other top-down games.” As for how many Echoes there are, Aonuma said he hasn’t counted them yet.

Alongside the game, Nintendo will also be releasing a gold “Hyrule Edition” Nintendo Switch Lite.
